Praise for Just One More

Enthusiasts of character-driven psychological thrillers will love Tamara Merrill’s Just One More. Merrill’s style of writing is unique. She captures the moods and sentiments of her characters with an impressive amount of intensity. She has a  way of making everything feel raw, exquisite, and overt. This encouraged me to connect with her characters, loathing some and loving others. The descriptions she gives in her short and twisted sentences are highly graphic. Coupled with the emotional depth of her narration, this had me going on an emotional roller-coaster. Reading through some of the scenes left me heartbroken. Her polished choice of words gives the story a professional touch. Tamara Merrill is undoubtedly a master of her craft. - Readers' Favorite Reviewed by Keith Mbuya

An emotionally resonant thriller, Merrill's mastery of dialogue and character development combined with a propulsive plot makes for a book you won't be able to put down. Tense, riveting, and suspenseful, Just One More is one of those stories where every page reveals a new twist. – AZ Republic

My head is full of characters

A Few Words From the Author:

Psychological thrillers focus on the characters' unstable emotional or mental states, and I love to read this genre. So, when Harriet Blimm began to pester me, I knew I wanted to write her story.

As in my other works of fiction, Harriet quickly became as real to me as my friends and family. And, along with Harriett came Morrigan and Nevermore, a pair of American Crows who serve as Harriet’s friends, mentors, and perhaps, her conscience.

I enjoyed every minute of researching and writing this book. Yes, it’s a dark story but I did have fun. Exploring human nature is full of many twists and turns. I admit the search history on my computer is enough to get me arrested!

The reader may think Harriet is a stone-cold killer but consider the acts of others that lead her to kill. Or—is it only a survival technique. I’ll let you decide.

“The crime novel is the great moral literature of our time.”
